Hey, I'm Nairobi! I am a postbaccularate student studying Digital Media Innovation and Popular Culture Studies at Texas State Univeristy. In 2020, I earned my first degree in Sociology with a minor in Mass Communication at Texas State. After graduating, I worked at an elementary school childcare program as a Site Director. I enjoyed working my time working with children, yet I aspired to further my studies in Mass Communication. At the beginning of 2023, I began my journey for my second degree. I took a big risk leaving my job and starting on a new career path, but I'm glad I took that leap of faith.
Studying digital media has been an amazing experience so far. With the rise of the digital age and ever changing technology, there is so much to explore. I've found a deep passion for media design. It has become a great outlet for me to utilize the skills and techniques that I have learned to express my creativity.
Not only do I have a passion for media design, I deeply love music. With a great appreciation for live music, I attend concerts whenever I get the chance. I'd love to travel the world and experience all the amazing festivals the world has to offer. It would be a dream for me to have a career where I can mesh music and media design. Music has the power to bring people together and I want to use my creative expression to elevate the experience for other music fans alike.
